Residents of Oxford will soon be able to enjoy frozen treats from Dairy Queen starting at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 3.

The new Dairy Queen is located at 1700 Jackson Avenue West and will feature a modern, open-air grill and separate “Grill” and “Chill” sections.

The restaurant will also have a drive-thru, patio, and dining area that will serve customers seven days a week from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. while following the state’s social distancing and safety guidelines. They will also offer delivery through DoorDash.

According to a press release through Fourteen Foods, the Dairy Queen Grill and Chill modernizes the typical dining experience by offering lunch, snack, and dinner options as well as soft-serve ice cream cones, sundaes, cakes, and their signature Blizzards.

Fourteen Foods has an established presence within Mississippi with Oxford serving as its 13th location. They have a strong faith-based and community-centric foundation where they bring a commitment to those they serve and work to amplify local community efforts.
