Susan Elaine Thweatt Polley, 69, died Saturday, July 11, 2020, at her home in Oxford. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Cobb officiating. Burial to follow in Pine Flat Cemetery. 

Born in Lafayette County, Miss., to the late David Elvin and Ozie Lee Cromwell Thweatt, Mrs. Polley was a retired commercial agent with Oxford Insurance Agency. She was a former member of South Oxford Methodist Church and enjoyed attending gatherings and worship at The Old Methodist Campground. Mrs. Polley was an ever present, nurturing and devoted mother and grandmother and relished in every moment spent with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle King Lynch, and her husband, Rory, of Oxforda sister, Patricia Thweatt Watts, and her husband, Tommy, of Oxford; and a grandson, Cole Herring, of Starkville, Miss.
